     EVARU CRITICS REVIEWs:
    Ratings:.2.75/5 Review By: 123telugu.com
On the whole, Ranarangam is a routine gangster drama which does not have much going it’s way. Sharwa leads from the front and the first half has good romance and crime scenes. But the second half is where the film suffers as the lack of conflict point, dull narration and rushed climax makes things a bit difficult for the audience. The film is not that bad but also does not have great drama that keeps you hooked. So, watch it only if you have nothing else to do.

Evaru is gripping to the core and has some decent technical values, but the film does lets itself down at times with gaps in the narration. An additional subplot makes it more confusing and doesn't necessarily work, but it's an earnest attempt from Venkat Ramji for his debut film. If you've seen the Invisible Guest or the Hindi film Badla, you'd come out feeling slightly underwhelmed. But if you watch Evaru with an open mind, it'll end up surprising you.

Ranarangam bears a slick and stylish look throughout. The existence of many parts appears to be only to boost the stylish quotient. The editing is decent. Sudheer Varma also doubles up as the writer. It is a mixed bag, as few scenes have excellent dialogues, but overall it falls flat with superficiality.

Watch Ranarangam this weekend if neo-noir films are your choice of poison, especially the ones you can soak in irrespective of the story. Gives this one a chance especially for the way Sharwanand and Kalyani carry off their roles and for the technicians. But don’t go looking for a story that will surprise you or even leaveyou in awe, you will be disappointed.
