Thipparaa Meesam Movie Review By Critics

Despite Sree Vishnu’s performance, the film is an excruciating bore. However, the director should have restricted the hero’s bad character act to limited scenes than prolonging it to the two-thirds of the movie. In a nutshell, “Thippara Meesam” is hard to watch.

On the whole, Thippara Meesam has a decent premise but the execution is wayward. A good story is narrated in a dragged and haphazard manner making the film lengthy. However, Sree Vishnu shines in his role and makes it somewhat watchable for the audience. The last 20 minutes is gripping but to enjoy that, one has to sit through the dragged first half. So, watch this film with an open mind and be prepared for what is going to come in as things get unveiled at a very slow and dull manner.

Overall, Thipparaa Meesam feels a long and tedious watch due to the disconnection with the lead protagonist, and incredibly jarring narrative. There is no irresistible charm to make things work either. Thipparaa Meesam is a test of patience. If you have enough, give it a try. But if you are low on that aspect, avoid it.

‘Thippara Meesam’ makes a tedious watch with its dragged on narration and dark mood. Sree Vishnu shines as an actor once again but his characterization is regressive to sit through. Except for his performance and climax portions, this film makes an unpleasant watch.

The length of the film is very long which is a biggest minus point. Despite having a simple story, the story got dragged which will test the patience of the audience. The first half is bad, and the screenplay also failed to do well. The editing is also really bad and it would have been better if the makers have chopped off some boring scenes and trim the runtime as well. The screenplay is very slow and some of the comedy scenes felt forced. The last 15 minutes of the film is really good and the emotional ending is the highlight. Overall, 'Thippara Meesam' is a passable film but can be watched once.
