Overall, barring the screen presence of
Anushka Shetty and the initial suspense mood, “Nishabdham” joins the other
recent direct-digital thrillers that have failed to make an engaging watch.

On the whole, Nishabdham has a decent
premise and a good supporting cast. The suspense factor is also neat in the
first half. But once the twists are revealed and the film nears the pre-climax,
several logics are missed and things become way too predictable taking the
tempo of the film down. The only thing we can suggest is not to go in thinking
too much about Anushka’s solid screen presence or performance as that is
missing in Nishandham. Watch it only if you have absolutely nothing else to do.

Nishabdham
on the whole promises to be a treat, not just to Anushka’s fans but to movie
buffs who love thrillers too. Sadly, it doesn’t always live up to that promise
because all it ends up being is a stylish film with no depth. Give this one a
chance this weekend for Anushka and Madhavan, if not for nothing else.

At
no point, the audience will feel bad for the victim which means no emotional
connection to the story. The foreign cast actually is pathetic. The audience
does not connect to the movie at any point making it a complete bore-fest. It
would have been a bloodbath at the box office if the movie released in theatres.

Nishabdham turns out
to be yet another disappointing film from Tollywood that has skipped theatrical
release. Perhaps a wise choice!
Bottom Line: This
Silence Is Uncomfortable!
